About our troop:
We have a Male and a Female Unit.
2025 Summer Camp: Camp Rotary, July 6 - 12
• We follow the BSA model of being youth-led. The scouts practice planning, preparing, and presenting their program.
• We plan for weekend camping each month with a week-long summer camp experience in the summer.
• Our leaders are well trained and experienced at working with youth and in a variety of outdoor skills
• Troop 209 takes an interest in our community by volunteering for community service projects.
• Our troop has been a Selfridge Air National Guard Base guest organization for over 50 years.
• We meet every Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30 pm at Hangar 9 West at Selfridge.
• Along the way, while building personal character and confidence in the youth, we have fun!
• Our scouts learn and repeat certify on a variety of skills, including CPR/AED, Stop the Bleed, swimming safety and more!
